We were delighted to play our 5th Vermont Days Concert for Vermont State Parkson Sunday, 06/15/07 at 2:00 pm at the Waterbury Center State Park on the Waterbury Reservoir. Gary Aubin, longtime director of the St Johnsbury Band and GMBB Baritone/Percussionist, was our Guest Bandmaster. We had beautiful weather, a great audience, and once again Governor Jim Douglas lead us in a March. (08/03/08)
Our next concert will be on Thursday, 08/07/08 at 7:00 pm at the Copley Bandshell in Morrisville. Patti Jacobs, longtime director of the Morrisville Military Band and veteran of Vermont's 40th Army Band, will be our Guest Bandmaster. We had a good time there last year enjoying a pleasant sunset view of Elmore Mtn. (08/03/08)
We are also looking forward to returning to the Dick Ellis Bandstand in South Royalton. This concert will be on Thursday 08/14/07 at 7:00 pm. Patti Jacobs will be our Guest Bandmaster. (08/03/08)
Our Board of Directors met for our Annual Meeting on Friday evening, January 11, 2008 at Dale Long's house. The Board reviewed last years activities and discussed activities for 2008. The Board reelected themselves and will continue in their offices: Dale Long, President; Priscilla Douglas, Vice President-Treasurer Phipps, Secretary. Dale Long will replace Tom Lackey as Manager. Tom will continue as Librarian and Webmaster. (06/01/08)
Dale Long recently purchased four new concert pieces for the Band which we will feature this summer.
We generally order music from Just Music and Salvationist Publishing.

The IRS classified us as a public charity under Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal
Revenue Code on 02/06/08. Donations to the Band are tax deductible!

Thanks to Nigel Horne for listing the GMBB on the Brass Band Portal website. His website and brass band mailing list are useful sources of brass band information for fledgling U.S. bands.
The international online brass band magazine 4BarsRest reported our concert in Littleton, NH last year. 4BarsRest is a great source of current information for brass bands.
Thanks to Gavin Holman of the Harrogate Band for listing the GMBB on the Internet Bandsman's Everything Within website. The website is a wealth of brass band information that helped the GMBB get started.
