We were pleased to play our 6th Vermont Days Concert for Vermont State Parkson Sunday, 06/14/09 at 2:00 pm at the Waterbury Center State Park on the Waterbury Reservoir. Gary Aubin, longtime director of the St Johnsbury Band and GMBB Baritone/Percussionist, was again our Guest Bandmaster.
We were honored to have Jazz Trumpet Legend Ray Vega, who recently moved to the Burlington area, join us on Flugelhorn. Ray treated us to two solos at the concert: a classical solo on Puccini's "Nessun Dorma"; and the pop classic "Just the Way You Are". We had beautiful weather and a great audience. (08/02/09)
