Mission Statement

The mission of the Corporation is to benefit the public by organizing concerts by the Green Mountain Brass Band. The concerts educate and entertain the public and bandsmen.

The Band benefits our society as an artistic and cultural organization. It revives and promotes the Concert Band tradition and culture of the Brass Band among adult musicians. It provides Bandsmen with an opportunity to perform and have fun, and learn the repetoire and improve their musical skills. It provides the Public with an opportunity to gather, be entertained, and learn about an important part of our cultural past.

Certificate of Incorporation

The Band is a nonprofit organization of the State of Vermont.
We recieved our Certificate of Incorporation from the Vermont Secretary of State on February 11, 2003.

We are pleased that the IRS classified us as a public charity under Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code on 02/06/08. Donations to the Band are tax deductible.
